Summer House, Cottingham | New Build

The brief was to create a brick built summer house in the grounds of a large family property located in a Conservation Area and a Zone 3 flood plain. The client requested a design that would create additional accommodation in which the family could relax and entertain. It includes a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a large open plan space that opens onto an outdoor terrace with views over the botanical park, that is situated at the end of the garden.

The project gained planning permission in November 2012 and was completed in March 2014.
